Personal Profile

Research Output / Publications

Jérémie studied physics and geosciences at undergraduate level in Grenoble (France) and obtained his MSc. Eng. (geophysics) in Strasbourg (France). Various internships have led him to Canada and Germany working on hydrogeophysics and magnetotellurics in research institutes and on reservoir mapping for industry. He worked for Schlumberger (on reservoir appraisal and characterization) and went through the graduate program for about three years. He was based in Milan, Italy and trained mostly in Houston before moving to Perth to start his PhD.

Jérémie completed his PhD in 2018 in the Centre for Exploration Targeting. His project focused on the integration of geological modelling in geophysical joint inversion to quantify the uncertainty on the different geophysical properties. Part of this involved developing a workflow integrating constraints on the petrophysical model, structural constraints on the geophysical model and a priori information from geological modelling.

His (geoscientific) dream is that one day he will find the wholly grail of geosciences, i.e a workflow integrating all disciplines of geosciences in a single geoscientific joint inversion code.
