Update to CET Grid Analysis extension for Geosoft Oasis montaj

by User Not Found | May 21, 2013
The CET Grid Analysis extension consists of a number of tools that provide automated lineament detection of gridded data, which can be used for first-pass data processing.

The latest release of Oasis montaj incorporates an update to the CET Grid Analysis extension which now includes a Phase Preserving Dynamic Range Compression filter. The filter is designed to reveal subtle features within images with a high dynamic range such as aeromagnetic or other potential field grids. The filter provides you with a fast and easy method of emphasizing and viewing structures with different wavelengths, helping you with interpretation.  In many applications we believe the Dynamic Range Compression filter provides a considerable improvement over the use of histogram equalization.
